Intumescent Downlight Covers limit the spread of fire through downlight fittings into the room above.
Intumescent Fire and Acoustic Downlight Covers are installed to maintain the integrity of fire rated and/or acoustic rated ceilings where downlights are installed. Self-ventilating materials allows the heat from the lamp to dissipate reducing early failure of lamps and downlight/cable overheating risk. Suitable for domestic use, easy to install and can be used with smaller ceiling voids.
Tests have shown that without a downlight cover in place, fire and smoke would penetrate through the recessed light fitting in seconds, spreading into the room or void above, endangering both lives and property. Intumescent Fire and Acoustic Downlight Covers will provide up to 60 minutes protection as it features a top layer of intumescent material which, in the event of a fire, drops down and completely seals the downlight and cut-out from fire from the room below.

Delivery usually 1-2 days from receipt of order, please allow 1+week for bespoke orders.
Returns & Refunds, if the items are no longer required you can return them within a 28 day period from order, the return items will be paid for by the customer & a 15% re-stocking fee will apply, all items must be returned in good order.
When the items have been received in good condition a refund will be issued minus the 15% re-stocking fee.
