PU28 is a flexible fire barrier which provides up to 90 minutes fire protection.
PU28 is a flexible fire membrane commonly used in thatching and roofing industries that provides up to 90 minute fire protection. It can be used in most applications ranging from large building developments, timber framed constructions and scaffold stairwells, to smaller internal or partition walls, suspended ceilings, loft conversions or anywhere building regulations state that a fire barrier is required. The Fire Pro PU28 90 minute fire barrier is 100% British made and provides fire protection with a high temperature treated glass fabric. It is interwoven with a pigmented flame retarded polymer, enhanced with mineral salts and vermiculite to increase performance. It also features a PU coating to suppress any irritant dusts.
Please note: This product is designed to contain the passage of smoke and flames. It will not insulate against the heat of a fire. If forming a cavity barrier or forming a fire barrier, please ensure that the product you use has the required insulation value.
