Ablative Coating Paste is a fire rated paste used for filling and coating mineral fibre panels.
Ablative Coating Paste is ready to use and designed to enhance, seal and protect mineral fibre panels. It is based on a durable polymer system with inert fillers, non-halogenated fire retardants and a preservative to resist microbial attack. The ablative property of the coating resists flame spread and protects the mineral fibre panel.
Ablative Coating Paste is recommended for use where the surface is irregular and requires both filling and coating to achieve a smooth uniform finish. The coating can be applied in layers up to 10mm thick per application. The coating is available in white and can be over painted if desired.

Limitations: Ablative Coating is not intended for application on bituminous substrates or substrates that can exude certain oils and plasticizers or solvents. The coating is not recommended for use in submerged joints or areas exposed to high abrasion and it is not suitable for food contact or medical applications.
Delivery usually 1-2 days from receipt of order, please allow 1+week for bespoke orders.
Returns & Refunds, if the items are no longer required you can return them within a 28 day period from order, the return items will be paid for by the customer & a 15% re-stocking fee will apply, all items must be returned in good order.
When the items have been received in good condition a refund will be issued minus the 15% re-stocking fee.
